GILLIAN CONNELLY

Gillian is an active girl who is open to trying new things. She is a bubbly girl who is considerate of others’ behavior and loves taking every opportunity to accompany anyone in their activities. Gillian always ensures that she’s staying agile with her roller skates. She’s usually seen wheeling herself around the city with her roller skates and is rarely seen in public with them off. She prefers it as her main method of transportation, so she doesn’t usually take the bus or drive to school. She has been skilled in rollerskating/blading since she was very young and aspired to be part of a professional roller derby team during her early childhood. Her dream came true when she tried out for a Brooklyn-representative roller derby team, just before she reached high school. She is also the founder of the roller skating club at her school. Other than roller skating, she also enjoys singing and dancing. As a child, she took ballet and hip hop dance at the same studio where Stella Monette (Soprano in Vision) went for classical ballet lessons. Like Joli, she also has a lot of stamina and a fondness towards acrobatics, even taking extensive lessons for it. Gillian has been told by her friends, family, and instructors that she has remarkable flexibility, balance, and form. She also loves cotton candy. She interprets vocalist group activities as a fun experience and says that Jubilant Jamboree was able to broaden her interest in music. She continues to seek more exciting experiences, and the rest of her group members take action to help expand her interests as well.
